Presented with detailed and lengthy landing pages at the front of the shop experience, many SMB prospects, especially those without active IT departments, felt lost in features, add-ons, speed and data options, and the math equations required to estimate pricing. This resulted in a high drop-off rate before purchase.

The Solution

Comcast Business built the Help Me Decide interactive shopping tool to filter products based on what is most relevant and helpful to each customer, thus empowering the customer to make their own successful choices. This required extensive diagramming of the very diverse needs, infrastructure, and output of Comcast business customers along with the full offering of products and features across the entire Comcast Business ecosystem. Every scenario had to be accounted for in order to create a unique, choose-your-own-adventure-style journey to purchase. As a result, 61.8% of prospects complete the tool, with 11% entering the purchase process, versus other conversion paths.
